FUZZY INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS: DISCRETE SOLUTION AND ERROR ESTIMATION
This paper investigates existence and uniqueness results for the first order fuzzy integro-differential equations. Then numerical results and error bound based on the left rectangular quadrature rule, trapezoidal rule and a hybrid of them are obtained. Finally an example is given to illustrate the performance of the methods.
متن کاملExcess Error , Approximation Error , and Estimation Error
Another question of interest concerns the behaviour of a learning algorithm in the infinite sample limit: as it receives more and more data, does the algorithm converge to an optimal prediction rule, i.e. does the generalization error of the learned function approach the optimal error? Recall that for a distribution D on X × Y and a loss ` : Y × Y→[0,∞), the optimal error w.r.t. D and ` is the ...
متن کاملIntroduction and Estimation of Monetary Conditions Index for Iran's Economy Using Johansson-Josilius Error Correction Method
Determining the monetary policy rule and identifying expansionary and contractionary policies is of particular importance to monetary policymakers. Monetary conditions index as an average weight of effective money transfer channels can play an important role in identifying expansionary and contractionary monetary policies. Therefore, in this article, the index of monetary conditions along with ...
متن کاملBlind error estimation and correction in an AD converter
For small integrated CMOS digital chips that communicate via analog signals the size and the cost of the AD-converters is a problem. An integrated CMOS AD-converter that could be built into the chip would solve this problem. In a CMOS process, the manufacturers only guarantee a very low accuracy of the recistances. The components of the ADC is therefore very inaccurate. The purpose of this repo...
متن کاملError Estimation and Adaptation in Hybridized Discontinous Galerkin Methods
This paper presents an output-based error estimation and adaptation strategy for hybridized discontinuous Galerkin discretizations of firstand second-order systems of conservation laws. A discrete adjoint solution is obtained by a Schurcomplement solver similar to that used in the primal problem. An error estimate is obtained by computing the adjoint on an enriched solution space that consists ...
